You can Import geofences to the portal. This can be useful if you already have your customers added as a map layer in some third party application, and would like to import their locations to the portal map. This not only shows them on the map, but can also be incorporated into your reports.
Geofences are imported from kml/kmz files. If you have data in some other format that you’d like to show on your map (ranging from a spread sheet to a geodatabase/shapefile), we can help you import them to the portal as part of our GIS services. Please contact us for more information. To import geofences from a kml/kmz file, select the Import and export item in the user menu.Â
